Join a team developing a leading edge solution in support of public facing web sites. This
position is to become part of a services team to test the web sites of enterprise customers.
The manual web tester will be responsible for following written test scripts, clicking through web
sites, observing the behavior of web sites, and recording test results. The tester will need to
repeat these tests as our engineering team updates the product and as our enterprise
customers update their web sites. The tester will need to balance their time between testing the
sites of different enterprise customers.
Follow precise instructions of written test scripts.
Click through web sites and fill out web forms as instructed in test script.
Record whether test passes or whether a problem was observed.
Precisely describe problems in test result reports.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to follow written instructions precisely.
Ability to clearly articulate observed problems.
Strong enough computer skills to change browser settings.
Attention to detail.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment.
Ability to shift between priorities as needed throughout the workday.
Ability to complete deliverables on time and communicate roadblocks when applicable.
Bonus Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to write test cases.
Knowledge of testing best practices
Must have good customer interface skills, drive, methodical and process oriented.
